Counting Strides, INC. is a Non-Profit organization and is recognized in the state of North Carolina as a not-for-profit organization. Any donations made will be tax deductable for the donor when our 501(c)(3) has been processed. Our organization is new and is in the early stages of formation, therefore, there are MANY services that we are currently in need of.
We always need input and advice and will be in need of additional volunteers to do day to day things and chores once we have more permanent things in place. Below you will find a list of the area and jobs we are in need of. If you feel you can help us in these beginning stages or future stages, please let us know.

What We Need:
We are in immediate need of an office/building in the King/Rural Hall/Pilot Mtn area to work out of & house donated items.
Who We Need:
The following Services are Needed as Volunteers:
- Board Members- We are in need of three additional board members. If you feel you believe in our cause and have faith in our founders/CEO/COO and can bring something positive to our cause, please contact us! We are truly in need of a Board Secretary, & Treasurer as well.
- Advisory Committee - We are in need of specialists, contractors, child care workers, therapists, accountants, lawyers, those with knowledge of non-profit organizations to consult with and advise us in areas of concern. This committee is not directly responsible for or legally bound to Counting Strides. We need as much advice as we can possible get! So if you have knowledge in any area, from blue prints to therapy, please let us know!
If you simply are are unable to commit to being on the advisory committee, we still need your help! Just send us an email with a good time to call you and what you feel you can help with and we will be happy to take only a few moments of your time for advice!
- Instructors - We need knowledgeable instructors to donate a little time. Even if you can only help once a month, we can use you.
- Landscaping/Fencing - Labor and Design
- Bulldozer/Grading work - For Small jobs
- Sawdust/Mulch/Gravel/Sand/Rock Dust & Delivery -
